About Morton County Housing Authority

The Morton County Housing Authority administers the housing voucher program in several counties. The voucher program affords the clients the ability to rent units in the community with the Housing Authority paying a portion of the rent. The client pay 30% of income for shelter which includes rent and utilities and the Housing Authority pays the difference between that amount and the contract rent to the landlord. The voucher is awarded according to the family size and the families must be income eligible.

The counties the Morton County Housing Authority administers the voucher program include Grant, Sioux, Oliver and McLean as well as Morton.

The Morton County Housing Authority has assisted many agencies with contributions in the past to help with the operations of their programs.
